We recently started two new projects:

a) Promotion of agricultural value chains in Algeria: As part of the consortium AFC/IDC, we support the GIZ programme PASA in Algeria with capacity building on ValueLinks, training-of-trainers on VC promotion, preparation of value chain studies etc. in the dates, potato and other value chains. The project has a duration of two years and will last until june 2022. Three first ValueLinks training seminars, including two training-of-trainers seminars, were conducted online in October and November 2020

b) Preparation of a study “Analysis of the rice value chain in the Mekong Delta” in Viet Nam: We coach a local team of researchers to prepare the study for the global program Green Innovation Centres for the Agriculture and Food Sector (GIC VN) operated by BMZ’s One World - No Hunger Initiative (SEWoH). The project started in November 2020.
